Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Tang-O-Mar Property Owners Association website and owner portal.
By using the website or portal, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Authorized Use
The owner portal is intended for Association members, property owners, authorized representatives, Association administrators, and other persons authorized by the Association.
Users may access only the information and functions made available to their account.
You may not attempt to access another owner's account, ledger, private information, or restricted Association records without authorization.
Account Access and Security
Users are responsible for maintaining control of the email account or other authentication method used to access the portal.
If the portal uses one-time or passwordless sign-in links, those links are intended only for the recipient and should not be forwarded or shared.
Users should notify the Association promptly if they believe their account or authentication method has been compromised.
Property and Financial Information
The portal may display information associated with properties linked to a user's account, including balances, assessments, payments, credits, and ledger activity.
Other residents do not have access to another owner's private financial account information through the portal.
Authorized administrators may access information necessary to administer this Association.
Administrator access is limited to this Association and does not provide access to records belonging to unrelated associations using the same website platform or technology.
Accuracy of Information
The Association makes reasonable efforts to keep information on the website current and accurate.
However, website information is provided for convenience and may occasionally contain delays, errors, omissions, pending transactions, or outdated information.
The Association's official records, governing documents, recorded instruments, adopted resolutions, approved minutes, official financial records, and official account ledgers control in the event of any inconsistency.
Assessments, Balances, and Payments
Balances shown through the portal may be affected by pending payments, returned payments, late charges, adjustments, credits, collection activity, or other transactions that have not yet been reflected online.
A balance displayed on the website should not be interpreted as a waiver of any amount lawfully owed to the Association.
Payment processing may be provided by a third party and may be subject to that provider's terms and policies.
Association Documents
Documents made available through the portal are provided as a convenience to members.
The Association may designate particular documents as current versions.
If there is any conflict between a website copy and an official recorded or adopted document, the official document controls.
No Legal, Accounting, or Professional Advice
Information provided through the website is for Association and informational purposes only.
Nothing on the website should be interpreted as legal, tax, accounting, engineering, insurance, or other professional advice.
Members should consult the appropriate professional regarding matters requiring professional advice.
Website Availability
The Association does not guarantee that the website or portal will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, security, updates, technical issues, or other reasons.

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
The Association is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, security, or operation of third-party services.
Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the Association is not responsible for losses arising solely from temporary website outages, unauthorized access caused by a user's failure to protect their email or authentication credentials, third-party service interruptions, or reliance on information that differs from an official Association record.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any legal right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be waived.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
